Top Note Old Fashion(ed) Sour
A classic by any standard, we use our grapefruit soda as a sour mix to amp the barrel aged spirit you choose to make this classic cocktail with!
1.5 oz Brandy or Bourbon of your choice
1 orange slice
2 perfect maraschino cherries
1 sugar cube
2 - 3 oz Top Note grapefruit soda
Place sugar cube in rocks glass. Top with a few dashes of bitters, orange slice and cherry. Muddle. Pour spirit (Bourbon, Whiskey or Brandy) into a rocks glass. Garnish with cherry and or orange slice. Options - Go without sugar cube!
Top with ice, and pour Top Note Grapefruit on top. Stir quickly and enjoy. Cap Top Note bottle off for next time you make a drink!
Fallin for You
1/4 oz St Elizabeth's Allspice Dram
1 oz Pumpkin Vodka or Whiskey
3 oz Bitter Lemon
Orange/Clove or Lemon Peel garnish
Build cocktail in a collins glass, starting with dram, spirits (vodka or whiskey) and ice. Add Bitter lemon along side of ice. Stir gently and garnish.
The Toki Highball - Soho House, Chicago IL
- 1.5 oz Choice of Toki, Yamazaki 12 year, or Yamazaki 18 year
- 3.5 oz Top Note Tonic Bitter Lemon
- 1 bar spoon Pedro Ximenez Sherry
- Grapefruit Twist
Combine ingredients in highball glass filled with ice. Give a quick stir and garnish with grapefruit twist. Featured Drink at Soho House, Chicago
Old Jack Horner - Inspired by Longman and Eagle, Chicago IL
- 1.5 oz Jim Beam Bonded
- 1 1/2 oz Umeshu (plum wine)
- 3/4 oz Lemon
- 1/2 oz Maple
- 3 oz Top Note Ginger Beer
Combine all ingredients except Top Note Ginger Beer into cocktail shaker with ice, and shake vigorously. Double strain contents of shaker into zombie glass filled with ice. Top with Top Note Ginger Beer and lemon swath wrapped around sage.
