The best of the best
We have loved Top Note Grapefruit Soda, thinking that it was our favorite. Now, there is a tie with Top Note Club Soda. It is great chilled on a hot summer day. To keep it cold in a glass, we freeze grapes to put into the glass when we pour the Top Note Club Soda into the glass. The taste is clean and delicious.
This is marketed as premium mixers for cocktails but they're delicious alone too. Not sure what it is but a cold carbonated water is exponentially more refreshing than flat water. Not sure that justifies the pricetag (some of which is no doubt dedicated to the elaborate and effective shipping apparatus needed to deliver these puppies safely), but they are very good. It's purified water with carbonation (which doesn't increase sodium) and some 15 mg of salt added (potassium bicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, and salt) to balance the palate of a mineral water.
Good Fizz and Clean Taste
Alhtough I tend to drink seltzer/sparkling water at home, I often order club soda, with a lime wedge, in restaurants. This Top Note club soda is better than the stuff served at a bar/restaurant because you can get it straight from the bottle. This keeps the carbonation under pressure until the last minute, and it results in good effervescence. The taste is clean and fresh. It contains 15 mg sodium per bottle (salt gives club soda its taste.). I love that the label has a mark to indicate the half-bottle mark if you use it as a mixer so that you can split it evenly between two cocktails. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
Best Highball Ever
TopNote really made a difference in the taste of a highball.
The best highball club soda
This club soda has changed the highball for me. It took one of my favorite drinks and made it even better! The level of carbonation and the minerality is spot on. My favorite highball mixer!
