Inspired by the cocktail menu at PDT (short for Please Don't Tell) in Hong Kong, this low-ABV recipe is full of fresh, savory flavors.
.75 oz Mezcal
.75 oz cold-pressed celery juice (store-bought or homemade)
Garnish: lime and salt rim, fresh celery stalk and cucumber wheels (optional)
Rim the edge of a glass with the lime wedge, dip into a shallow dish of fine kosher salt, then shake off any excess salt from the glass. Add ice and all other ingredients to the glass, stir, and garnish if desired.
Equal parts smoky and tart, this refreshing cocktail tastes just as good while sitting around the campfire as it does when you're lounging on the beach.
Dolly Dolly Recipe:
1/4 cup cilantro, packed
2 oz mezcal
1 oz grapefruit juice
Garnish: fresh cilantro and grapefruit
Muddle the cilantro and juice in a cocktail shaker, then add mezcal and ice. Shake and double strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with Grapefruit Soda, stir, and garnish.
